Overview

Our Data Dashboard gives our entire region access to helpful data in the areas of health, education, and financial stability.  The Data we have compiled can help our region make better decisions about addressing the needs in Southwest Virginia.

The Dashboards provide an interactive visualization of the data and allows users to download the raw data using the icons at the bottom right of each visualization.

Seed funding for the Data Dashboard was provided by the New River/Mount Rogers Workforce Development Board and the Mount Rogers Planning District Commission.

KIDS COUNT Data Center
KIDS COUNT is a project of the Annie E. Casey Foundation and a premier source of data on children and families. Each year, the Foundation produces a comprehensive report — the KIDS COUNT Data Book — that assesses child well-being in the United States. The indicators featured in the Data Book are also available in the Data Center.

Regional Economic Indicators
Regional Economic Indicators include workforce-related and education-related data and trends available through the New River / Mount Rogers Workforce Development Board.
